( I have received it from a friend of mine, who is also a patron of our "New World" and I hope some readers who will love music will enjoy .(George Kurian for "New World")
TO MY "SANGEET-PREMI" FRIENDS & FAMILY:
A thousand Sitarists & other musicians played on one platform for the first time in the world, in the Brahm Naad concert for world peace. To make so many people sit in one place for practice & rehearsal is unimaginable. Hats off to them for such a magnitude accomplishment.

This was held in New Delhi on 21st Nov 2008. This superlative performance conducted by the Art of Living is expected to find its way in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Sitar players of various age group, ranging from 6 to 70 years, from different parts of the world - India, Australia, USA, France and Abu Dhabi - performed in this grand celebration of peace and harmony. These included child prodigies, budding artists from renowned schools of classical music, senior practitioners and those who are visually challenged, among others. The proceeds of the show will be dedicated to the Bihar flood victims.
