A short Profile of Mr. Koovalloor
Mr. Koovalloor was born in Andoor, Kadaplamattom Panchayat, Kerala, India on June 18th.1949. After finishing B.com degree he became the manager, Kizhathadiyoor Crepe Mills, Palai, Kerala. He has also a Diploma in Business Management. In his social service, he has become a founding member and Secretary of Rooparekha Arts& Sports Club. He became Secretary of Vettilappara Area Girijans and Settlers of Cooperative Milk Society,Malappuram District,Kerala and also he taught the children of the Aborigins of that village who had lived inside the forest.As a matter of fact many were educated and could lead a better life in future.
He became the first President of SMCC Local Chapter ( a national laity organization of Syro-Malabar Catholics in North America), Bronx, New York ,& Founder of St. Thomas Malayalam School, St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bronx, New york2005- Trustee, St. Thomas S.M.C. Church, Bronx, New York 2006- Vice President, Yonkers Malayalee Association, a Registered community organization in New York .2007- Founding Member & Secretary of Indian American Malayalee Community of Yonkers, Inc. , a registered community organization in New York2008- Treasurer, India Catholic Association of America Inc. a leading association which is based in New York and has members all over the U.S.2008- Founder & Manager/CEO of Indo-American Yoga institute, LLC, Registered in New York 2009-Founder& CEO of Yonkers Yoga Club ltd., registered in New York2009-Secretary , India Catholic Association of America, Inc.Also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher ( E-RYT500), Registered with Yoga Alliance Hobbies: teaching Yoga, Freelance Writer, Community service.
