HOME DECORATION : BY MARY VARGHESE

DOING UP YOUR HOME????

Small details that make BIG DIFFERENCE!
Contributed by Mary Varghese

· Décor for your bare walls? Photos can be the most precious
artwork.

· Light a room well, it’s a relatively inexpensive way to
enhance look.

· Budgeted décor- Add a punch to your home by selecting
a dramatic and enticing color.

· A well-lit room appears larger, be it natural or artificial
lighting.

· Make an area look larger- Try to match the wall color with
the furniture.

· Light colors make a space feel open. Pick soft tones of
blues/greens.

· Small spaces? Don’t let furniture block the view into the
room.

· For a stress-free home pick colors that affect emotions
positively.

· Ample natural light available? Walls in lemon yellow look
appealing.

· Painting walls apricot adds to a room’s spring-time feeling.
