Today America, the richest country in the world is facing a severe financial crisis. People are losing their jobs and many are worried about the future. Sometimes, the future may seem to be very dark or painful. Nobody can give any guarantee about it.

We would like to have more comfort, good fortune, happiness and peace but where are all those things in our life? Human beings are worried about many problems like poverty, sickness, burdens, debts and death. Some are unable to sleep at night due to the anxiety, worry, and care. Many are living in confusion without any hope or proper guidance.

The scientists, the great philosophers and rulers of the world have tried to find a solution for this but they have absolutely failed. Death is the greatest enemy of mankind. There is no assurance for our human life on earth. Thus we read in the scripture “Remember how short my life is. Have you created everyone for nothing? What man can live and never see death?” (Psalm 89: 47-48). The authentic answer to the problem is Jesus.

Christ, the creator and controller of the entire world, born in the most humble way in a manger in Bethlehem! He is the hope of the world. He said “come to me all of you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” He is the Prince of Peace, and saint of saints. Twenty centuries have come and gone and yet, today He remains the most attractive and well known central figure of the world. He lived for others. His greatest gift to the mankind is love. His selfless love is universal. He loves everyone irrespective of caste creed, or social status. He said

“A new commandment I give you: love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). Love is Christ’s greatest gift to the mankind. Are we loved by one another today? Victor Hugo said “The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved.” Love is life. Love is real happiness and peace. It is the way to eternal life. What is the most important thing we would like to achieve in our life before we die? It is eternity.

We, the New World, stand for universal love, brotherhood, humanity and peace. The real Christmas celebration is doing the will of God. Remember, for every problem there is a solution with God. He will never fail you. He is a compassionate God as well as a trustworthy friend of millions! Let us kneel before the birth of Jesus of Bethlehem! He is the most holy and Mighty. Would you like to have more peace and harmony in your life? Call upon Jesus, the great comforter of the world. “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favors.” Without Him, no one can have real peace and happiness in life. I wish you all, the dearest readers of New World a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year 2011!
