THE LORD'S PRAYER
"Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven."
Our Abba Father in His heavenly abode always looks on all of
His children. The presence of Almighty Father could not be
limited or constrained for God is Omnipresent and Omniscient.
Omnipresence meant presence--- everywhere! How? It is
a mystery. On the other hand, God's holiness is apt for
his throne in heaven. Heaven is not only a place, but a state.
The bliss of a Christian in the right relationship with God is
also a state of heaven. For we are the temple of the HolySpirit.
"When two or three are gathered in His name, there God is in
the midst of them." When God is present, that place become sacred,
for God's holiness and power diffuses, it can't be contained!
This is the reason why God's name should be hallowed! Even the name
of God is holy and to be respected. However, in cases where God's name is
blasphemed, the person responsible for blasphemy has to receive the
consequences of his disrespect for the Almighty. It is because God's Name is
holy; therefore no one is supposed to desecrate it.
"Thy Kingdom come,"---the Kingdom of God is before, today and in the future.
For God is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and End. But hope should
be in our hearts for the consumnation of the kingdom at the end of time.
"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." If God wills, He could intervene on
anything because of His awesome Power. However, God Almighty respects
our free will and dignity. We pray daily that people will make the right choice,
to submit to the infallible will of Abba Father, in the name of Jesus Christ by
the power of the Holy Spirit!
