THE LORD IS WITH US"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabbuni!" (which means Teacher). John 20:15-16
Mary was crying that is why she did not see Jesus! But she knew that only He could ease her pain and grief so even in her sorrow she was listening and so she heard Him call her name.
Many times in life we do not recognize Jesus walking with us. We are too consumed by our grief. But He is there in the spouse who loves us when we are not lovable, He is in the friend who cares to listens, He is in the people who lend a helping hand. He is always there.
It is so easy to be preoccupied with work and worry and miss the Risen Lord by our side. Let us slow down today, and notice: Jesus is always with us.
(Thanks Jane for the reminder that the Lord is always with us. Let us abide in our Lord always and we will see that great things really happen! Excellent!) New World
