TRUST IS THE KEY: REFLECTIONS FORWARDED BY PRAYER AID

REFLECTIONS: JANE PIMENTA
Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. "Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days." Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" John 11:38-40

It is not uncommon to any of us to reach a climax in our problems and then feel the help and blessings of God. Its not that He cannot come to our aid earlier than He does, or that He wants to punish us or teach us a lesson. God has a plan and time for all things. We often do not understand the ways of God, nor do we see the sense of waiting for months, when He had the power to sort it out immediately. God comes through in His Time – not a minute earlier or later. Its very difficult to wait for God to heal our situation, but that’s the only way He can teach us to trust Him more and more. Let us respond to Him generously.
(Thanks Jane for the enlightening reflection about absolute trust in God. Very good!). New World)
