UNIVERSITY OF STO THOMAS EYES WORLD RECORD

The University of Sto Tomas in Manila to have a world record for
the largest human rosary that would be composed of about 20,000
participants.
CBCP News, the standard news arm of the Catholic Bishop's conference of
the Philippines that it would hold this human rosary in celebration of its
400th anniversary next year. The exact date the following year would be
8th of December, the Feast of the Immmaculate Conception.
The event would be the pledge of UST"s love and devotion to the Blessed
Virgin.
UST had a history of devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary, patroness of the
Dominican Order. It is in the light of Mother Mary's protection for the
University.
The participants assigned to "Our Father," the Cross and the Centre Medal
would use blue shirts while those who will say the Hail Mary will wear yellow
shirts.
The big day would be prayed between 4 to 5 pm followed by a Mass for the
Feast of Immaculate Conception.
