COOKING RECIPES # FORWARDED CHARMINE ILLAGO

CHICKEN COCIDO --- PHILIPPINE RECIPE1 kilo chicken (thigh/breast), cut up
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 medium onions, sliced
1 beef boullion cube
2 small potatoes, cut into chunks
1 medium carrot, cut into chunks
2 pcs chorizo de bilbao, sliced
1 pouch (200 g) tomato sauce
1/4 kilo cabbage, cut up
14 pieces baguio beans, sliced

1. Season chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1/4 tsp pepper. Brown in oil. Set aside.
2. Saute garlic, onion and chorizo. Add chicken, boullion cube and 1-1/2 cup water. Simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Add potatoes, carrot, tomato sauce, salt and peppercorns to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add beans and cabbage. Cook for 3 minutes.
