Once there was a bat named Annie. She lived in a cave with her mother,
aunts, uncles and friends. Annie was 17 but her mother still had to catch
food for her because she couldn't fly. When she was little, her mother lifted
her on her back to get breakfast. But Annie did not hold on and fell into
a bush. When she was about to get out, a branch ripped part of her wing off.
Annie was never able to fly again even though she kept on trying to fly, she
never could. Annie tried one more time and she did it. ! She was flying. Everyone
was overjoyed to see Annie fly. They had a celebration and from then on every
bat could fly.
