TRUE FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE:
BY THOMAS PHILIP RANNI
BY THOMAS PHILIP RANNI
(Our Senior Editor and eminent writer Mr. Thomas Philip Ranni writes about the true meaning of 'Friendship and Love' This is truly a wonderful article.)
True Friendship and Love
I would like to write a few words about true friendship and Love.
Everyone has friends. however, now a days only a very few people have true friends.
People usually say “ I love you” and “ I will never forget you.”
In my view, those who emphatically say, “ I love you” does not have genuine love in his or her heart.
Solomon said “ which my soul still seeks but I cannot find: one man among a thousand I have found, but a woman among all these I have not found.” It is true. Among a thousand people we may find a truthful man.
Remember, a true friend is a valuable asset.
Somebody said “ friendship is a living thing that lasts only as long as it is nourished with kindness, sympathy, and understanding.” True friendship is something to give rather than something to get. And without some pain and sorrow, selflessness, humility and service no man can live in true love.
Love is humble, joyful, pure and swift. Nothing is sweeter and stronger than love. So let us live in the love of oneness and serve the mankind without ego and pride. We the New World publications stand for it.
God bless you all New World readers.
