CYNTHIA ABEGAIL'S COLUMN: POEM

Herald of King from Padua
(A very beautiful Poem from Cynthia. Thanks.)New World

A new beginning to lit,
A voice from the pulpit
Pure of heart and soul
Herald the King for all!

Zeal for Him at dawn,
The beam of light alone
Incites the pen that wins
Souls that stray and sins...

Long brown robe that touch,
The lost things by surprise
It was gone but now arise
Smiles, here now abashed!

Visions of the King in his arms,
What an honor by the balms
Yet humble of heart to amaze
Walked gently with hope ablaze!

The Spirit blows where it wills,
To the man of Padua that fills
Void of faith so dreary and dull
Enlivens the spirit to live afar...

Miracles in King's name by bay,
Fishes stand and listen array
Men turned astounded at feat
Now faith restored to the King!

Fed the poor of bread and wit,
Consoled the lonely of heat
Anthony, a friend and so rich
In the eyes of King he meets!
