I KNELT AND ASK
Lord, I am sinking in deep waters,
Dappled eyes, shrunken lips - dark
Moments in shadows, dim and stark
When O' Lord, the zenith not lark?
At night, the stars lost its lustre of dame
So crescent moon passed and overcame
Shades of numbness; yet remains alive,
As advent of dawn , lingers of hope!
I knelt and prayed, remove the angst...
Shatter pain, of loss and reminicence
Lighten the yoke, the mast and arrows
Love casteth fear, yet weak of sorrow!
Then, clouds, ain't cirrus or cumulus,
Cumulonimbus with pangs of a storm
Felt in my heart, as thunder breaks,
Rainbow I'll see as the sun shakes...
I knelt and ask, as an innocent child,
Of God, I surrendered, cried O'mild
I know Thou wilt answer, sometime,
I ask today and will receive by trust!
