A HEART THAT'S PURE BY CYNTHIA ABEGAIL

A HEART THAT'S PURE

The waves surmount, the gales are strong,
It must be a storm that breaks headlong
I gazed at the sky, the clouds pitch black
It must be a tempest sometimes in dark!

I looked around and somewhat a shadow
The mast to hedge on the ship in billows
O' strength is there, faith- hope-trust
It will be sunny after the rain embarks.

A heart so pure, never will I see again,
Beaming with a heart despite the rain
I will roam the earth but O' never find
A heart that's pure, so gentle as thine!

Hearken the voice, silence in the deep,
Melodies that echoes in the wilderness
Mountains that tower will not compare
Thine heart so pure bustling to share!
