GOOD MANNERS IN MONTREAL FORWARDED BY CYNTHIA ABEGAIL

SOME GOOD MANNERS
IN MONTREAL

1. Try to speak your best French (even if it is quite limited).
People appreciate your desire to communicate and mostly
switch over.

2. Bring a beautiful bunch of flowers or a bottle of good wine
when invited to parties. Unlike in other countries, they prefer
if you are late in these gatherings.

3. Don't address waiters as garcon (boy) but a simple please
is how it's done in these places.

4. Exchange two kisses (a peck on each cheek) as a greeting.
However, men combine handshake and pecks.
