Jesus went on his way through towns and villages , teaching and journeying toward Jerusalem.
And someone said to him, "Lord, will those who are saved be few?" And he said to them, "Strive
to enter the narrow door; for many I tell you, will seek to enter , and will not be able. Lk 13:1-2
It is quite easy to follow the crowd and be attracted to the trappings of worldliness.
Yet, The Lord has made it clear that many will strive to enter the narrow door but will
truly fail. For to enter the right door requires commitment, perseverance, patience, hope
and great love for God and one's neighbour.
If one is too busy with the delights of the world, one will not have time for God and
For one's neighbour. That person will be busy loving himself and loving the glitter of
fame and vanity.
