CYNTHIA ABEGAIL'S COLUMN:POEM/GENTLE BREEZE

(Another wonderful poem from our distinguished Poetess Cynthia Abegail)New World
The Gentle Breeze
Reminiscing the moments by the lake,
Still waters on early morn softly flows
Reminds me thus of thine gentle ways
of memories of past that lays.

A gentle breeze from a far, distant land,
Not brisque nor rushing like a tempest
Nor sound like a trumpet that burst
But like a pianist ... a gentle stroke!

Words that comfort and alas allays,
It is a sonata that amuses the heart
Like a painting not abstract with awe
As a dew that touches the bare leaves.

It is another day that seem not to end,
The gentle breeze touched my cheeks
Quite chilly but soft as the white roses
Smelt the fragrance such as ambrose...

The shadows painted the reddish sunset,
So it was you, not somewhere else...
Coming back after saying adieu...
Like a gentle breeze of tides!
