“Therefore, do not worry, saying ‘what will we eat’ or ‘what will we drink’ or ‘what will we wear’ for the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well” Matt. 6:31-32The will of God for each of us, is to be free from worry and anxiety, free from tension and fear. The will of God is that we rejoice at all times, pray always and abandon ourselves into God’s loving hands. It is not easy to fight worry, anxiety, fear and tension; it is a constant battle one that could go on for long periods of time. In that battle the Lord is teaching us to grow in faith, to first seek His kingdom. He is teaching us to fight off evil and walk by His side determinedly. Even though we may see no results to the situation we face, there is a lot of growth that is taking place in our spiritual life. One day, we will experience the joy of answered prayer…Let us ask God today for the grace to persevere in our faith, wait patiently that He will work in our life.
(Thanks Jane for the need to focus on the Lord and on His Kingdom! Everything will just be given to us, all is grace of God. Excellent!) New World
