Reflections from the Book of Genesis

Everything on dry land with the faintest breath in its nostrils died out.  The Lord wiped out every living thing on earth: man and cattle, the creeping things and the birds of the air; all were wiped out
From the earth.  Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left.  Gen 7: 22-23

At this point in time, man has all evil in his heart.  There is only Noah and his family who love and
obey God's commandments.  Truly, God loves mankind, but purification is necessary to build up
again.  God's ways are not our ways.

Do we think that man is any better at this generation?  Let us look around us and see that many
disobey God's will.  The priests and evangelists are working overtime to save lost souls for
the Lord!

Now, the Divine Mercy of God is boundless, limitless.  Let us wrap ourselves with God's mercy
and love by seeking Him, running after Him with all our heart, soul and mind.  Our Heavenly
Father is patiently waiting for us!  What we all need to do is repent, attend reconciliation or confession to mend our relationship with God.  Sin breaks our relationship with him but we
are always given chance to repent and go back to Him from our straying.

The mercy of God will help us through.  For when sin abounds, God's grace abounds!
