REFLECTIONS ON THE BOOK OF LEVITICUS

Do not have recourse to the spirits of the dead or to the magicians; they will defile you.  Lev 19:31

Summoning or conveyancing spirits of the dead is an evil action, abominable in the eyes of God.  Why?  One is building a bridge between himself and the evil spirits.  We are not saying that the spirits of our loved ones are bad.  God is only warning us that conveyancing of the spirits of the dead will defile us.  As the evil spirit cross that bridge of conveyancing, the defilement of our soul begins.
That's how serious it is!  Never consult mediums for the dead.  Because God said so in His Word.
As children of God, we must follow and obey.

Magic is not of God.  It is because God is truth and there is no falsehood or deception in Him.
But the world is fascinated with magic...It could be a bridge, too that evil could cross!  We are not
saying that we could not have some fun.  Well, in other areas, why not?  Magic are illusions and we do not have a clear grasp of reality if we are obsessed with magic and all of these things.
