Why is this called Holy Saturday?  This day is the recollection of the Crucified Jesus, the Messiah!  It is a sacred day, a day set apart for silence for the Son of God and the Son of Man shed His Precious Blood for the salvation of all, you and me.

Holy Saturday is a Vigil for the most important day in the Christian calendar alongside with the Incarnation.  That is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Jesus said to Martha, "I am the Resurrection and the Life.  Whosoever believes in me will not die but will have eternal life."

Why is it important to believe in the resurrection?  Having faith in Jesus is crucial to salvation!  It is God's plan.  When God plans anything, who will stop it?  God is the Creator, He knows everything!  It is better to follow what God says than follow what the world of flesh say.

Let us cling to the Lord and obey.  There is nothing to lose, everything to gain?  Is not Paradise attractive to you?  What would you prefer?  A life of eternal happiness or a life of anguish in hell?  Hell is an eternal separation from God, our Creator.

The choice is ours!  But let us make an intelligent choice...
