CYNTHIA ABEGAIL'S COLUMN: POEM( A lovely poem. In Cynthia's own words" This is a love poem full of deep emotion of joy and unexplainable imagination" Excellent.) New World
Just a Dream
The moonlight sonata had echoed
Time for slumber cozy by the night
Joy filled my senses as I mellowed
Walking to you so shy but bright!
Is your voice like the harp of David?
or like the cello, soprano or alto...
Not symphony as of Bach or Mozart
Melodious as the lark that passes by!
The comet beckons a fuzzy light,
Shooting star strikes with might
The moon gently hid by the clouds
Less resplendent way for the sounds!
Eyes lit as rare dream approaches,
Heart raced like the rushing river
Blushed cheeks as they shimmer
Rythmms beyond go not dimmer!
Could I evade this moment of yonder?
To run like the waves of Callander
A blissful moment near the banks
Vision ahead so near yet far...
The grapevines shouted with glee,
Alas, the days of wonder has come
Stop teasing or I will be run down
The rainbow smiled at the mound!
The roses embraced me with care,
Tulips and lilies kisses so rare
Love cast out utmost blind fear
Awakened by the singing deer...
I love that dream by the waters,
Mirage of feeling that matters
Silence of the heart in ecstasy
Come my love with imagery...

(This is a poem suited for Valentines Day! There are times that love seems to
be fleeting and only just like a dream. It is good to wake up now (joke only)!
Cheers. Cynthia Abegail
