Do not judge, and you will not be judged, do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven; give and it will be given to you. A good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back. (LK 6:37-38).
These passages had been a standard way of dealing with our neighbours and family. There are many things happening in the world and sometimes we could not help but rant in anger and judgment. Yes,
of course, there are values that are morally right or wrong but the best way to deal with opposing views is to pray to God Almighty for clarity and judgment. At the end of the day, we will realise that God has the final judgment.
The judgment of God supersedes all judgment from all sources. "God's ways are not our ways." God judges us on how we treat our brethren and even the pagans in our midst. If other people are not of our own religious convictions, we lead them gently to Jesus Christ and we could pray for them. Thousands and millions of pagans were converted in the past! How? "For nothing is impossible for God." So, judge not!
Let us deal with the art of giving! Do not be afraid to share your wealth. For the money you give will go back to you in abundance! One could not bring his amassed millions to the grave. Give to the poor, the marginalised for they could even pray for people when they die. Abundance in blessings but how?
One's charity is running over, then one's cup runneth over. As the saying goes, what comes around goes around and it will go back abundantly like a running well. How? Only God knows!!!
