THOU SAVED ME
At twilight, dreams run through my mind
Bright lights, eerie lights barely to blind
Screeching sound, the merriment fades,
The smile had gone, the room run down!
Oozing, red and warm---tears flowing
The call is near---is it the end gnawing?
"Lord, where are you", now darkened
Slept soundly as if eternal bliss done.
I can feel Thine presence, comforting,
The wind, cold and icy on my lips---
No mirror could give joy for the eyes
Could not capture a beauty that vies!
The grey-black dominates the pink,
No rosy cheeks, no plum on the lips
No eyes that sparkle, but tilted deep
The breath that's faint, like a sheep.
A bright light shone, hope to beacon!
Thou saved me, thought I am alone
Thou art my fortress, One to rely on
Thou saved me, the Lord of my own!
Now the birds chirped so sweetly
On eagles's wings, soft and neatly
On the palm of Your Hand verily,
Thanks O' Lord, I sung with lilies!
