Jn 15: 26-27 "The Paraclete Comes"

" When the Paraclete, whom shall I send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who issues from the Father, he will be my witness, And you too will be witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.

The Holy Spirit, the Paraclete or Helper is sent by the Lord from the Heavenly Father.  As the Spirit of truth originates from the Father---all of these must be the basis of our way of life.

Life is short, like the grass that flutters as the wind carries them and then, dropped on the ground.  As we hear the cry of a child coming from the womb of a mother, the family rejoices.  However, life of man is about 50 years to more than a hundred and even less depending upon the Will of God!  Therefore, we also have limited time to spread the Word as witnesses of His love and mercy.

As we are alive, we must make the most of our time.  Spread the Word of God, practice it in your lives.  Many people's souls are lost for no one has prayed for them.

Be witnesses of God's Word, at home or at work or anywhere.  We live only once and "this is the day, the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad."

When we become witnesses, be humble for if we become proud, we unleash evil outside our very being.  Pride is a trademark of the Evil One.  Do not be marked by the Beast!  His ways are---
pride, vanity, lust and hatred!  It needs a discerning mind to always look out for "the Devil is like a roaring lion preparing to devour."  As all of us were given enough intelligence to be sensitive to the moves and wiles of the Enemy, it is not an excuse that we say we are weak.  Yes, we are weak but are strong in Christ!  It is God's battle, it's not ours.  We have to align with God for victory.  Alone, we are helpless.  Pray that you may not be put to the test.

We fail sometimes!  It does not matter.  God forgives and His forgiveness never ends.  The only necessity is to seek Him, worship Him, love Him and love others too.  God will provide for the rest.
When we finished, we will say just like St.  Paul, "I have fought a good fight."

Dear Lord, please give all of us the courage and fortitude to be Your witnesses in this world.  Help us to be your disciples in a way you want us to.  Grant us, our King and our God the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Guide us to seek your Kingdom first so as everything will be added unto us.  Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all of the Angels and Saints, pray for us!  All these we pray in the Holy Name of your Jesus, Amen
