" O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your Name in all the earth." (Ps 8: 9)
When we praise the Lord, we may hear some murmur, "Have they gone out of their mind? Are they kind of nerds? They are too emotional, Oh men!" This is because the truth had been downplayed as false and the false to be flattering true!
Praising God is a normal way to express our gratitude to God, though the Holy Mass is the most powerful way, of course. Praising God is close to an ordinary man. Music can be used for good or bad. On the other hand, music with the aid of God's grace multiply the odds against resistance to faith. When we listen to a Praise song, we are listening to an extraordinary song. Premise 1: God dwells in the praises of His people. When we praise God, He completes a heavenly ambience.
When we meet our earthly boss, sometimes we praise him for his attire or work. Our manager has his ears on you, eyes on you and become more warm to you.
God loves us if we praise Him or if we don't. The point is: Why not praise our Creator not out of duty but out of love. The ambience of Godliness will fill us which makes us feel better, too. God may say, "I delight in you!" What a privilege for our Creator to delight in us. The affirmation makes one intoxicated by the Holy Spirit! The warmth engulfs you, the kindness fills you! What a great feeling and one becomes happy.
Love God and your neighbours. There is no Way to the Father but Jesus alone! After all things are said and done through his grace---blessings overflow...Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all of the Angels and saints, pray for us! In the Most Holy Name of Jesus. Amen.
