Guidance, not manipulation!

There are times that we are tempted to manipulate people to satisfy our ends.  Manipulation is not from God.  Manipulation does not respect the innate dignity of a human being.

When one manipulates people, that person treats others like puppets, with a goal of domination.  Yes, we can plan and focus on our goals.  In terms of dealing with people and with all of creation, manipulation is not on!  Why?  We are created according to God's image.  We need to respect one another as others were also created according to His image.  I know that this is not easy at all.  We could do it only through God's grace.

Dear Lord, we realise that we are weak, prone to sins and mistakes.  Please help us to be better people so as to do things according to your plan.  Assist us O'Lord in our decisions and please help also all of our world leaders to deal with their people justly and with utmost love and care.  Through the powerful intercession of Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all of the angels and saints.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
