BE STILL AND KNOW THAT THE LORD IS GOD (Prayer)

A PRAYER


How many times, Lord that we fret and fume
Or have we forgotten your transcendence at times?
Forgive us Lord for the times we may have
missed the most salient point in life, no more
worries and "Be still and know that You are
God"--- who cares so much and loves abundantly.
We pray for all those affected by calamities,
the dying, the mentally afflicted, the depressed,
the marginalised in our society and all of those
who are sick everywhere.
Yes Lord, we will remember always that nothing
happens in this world without your consent and
knowledge. The silence is like music in our ears.
Here in Thine presence we ponder again "We should be
always still and know that you are GOD." Amen
