"MY WORDS WILL NOT PASS AWAY" THUS SAYS THE LORD; REFLECTION BY CYNTHIA ABEGAIL

In truth I tell you, before this generation has passed away
all will have taken place.  Sky and earth will pass away
but my words will not pass away.
                                                                   Lk 21:32-33

* The Word of God is eternal and unchanging.  God's Word never
fades and does not adjust to the season or to the era or to the time
in history.  The interpretation may vary, but the real meaning behind the
passage is only through the discernment of the Holy Spirit and via the
interpretation of the Holy Fathers of the Church and the priesthood
who were entrusted with the vital and meaningful value of the
real message of the Word.

It takes humility to accept that some people are gifted with the Holy Spirit.
However, those people should be in communion and solidarity with the
Church to be valid and viable.  As a Church, (the people themselves)
are journeying together to the true homeland.  As such, one is not journeying
alone but together as faithful to God in the Name of Jesus Christ.
What is important is the cornerstone, Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for
the salvation of all!
