"Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse: the blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods which you have not known. Deut 11:26-28
The greatest sin a man may commit is idolatry, worship of false gods. But, of course not all men have the same views on this Scriptural premise. Different people have different beliefs, but the point is: God is the only One who can touch the hearts of others. It is not the writers, it is not the evangelists but the Spirit of God alone.
On the other hand, God works in mysterious ways, sometimes in ways we could not imagine or decipher! "For who will know the mind of God?" Let us pray today that we will be touched by God in ways that are impossible to understand, with miracles to touch our hardened hearts at times and to gift us with a faith capable of working wonders for the glory of His Name...
