HERE I AM: POEM FORWARDED BY CYNTHIA ABEGAIL

HERE I AM

The days are short and nights are balmy this winter,
And skies are foggy, missed tawny leaves so bare!
Sunlit seas never came again and spring so tawdry,
But here I am, pondering on woolen shawls of berry.

The mist are heavy and the trees as white as snow,
And moods are heavy-laden,  so cold and icy-blue
When will the sun yellowish as golden and as new,
But here I am, hibernating with the coffee O' brew!

When will the sun shine again, whisper to me softly?
The weather is fickle, this morn may be wintry eerie,
Hope it changes and the dryness will go away weary
But here I am, reckoning with fluffy blurry lore Siri!

When will the flowers bloom again in freezy garden?
Missed the roses so red and lilies exotic not barren!
Hope the hyacinths will sway again with the violets,
But here I am, writing with the shaggy linen killets!
