THE PAINTING
Hues of endearment, the life with meaning
The pastels that capture, kisses of the heart,
A canvas so rare, Rubens sweeps the dark!
The ocean displays the crest, shoots the sky
Ripples so curly, at the horizon seems to lie
Simmering red, tinge of scarlet and O' fire
As the sunset heralds another night of lyre.
Like a monsoon, fickle as the silvery moon
The gale that swoops, the tempest looming
The love that glows as if cinder set alight...
The castle no more, scattered in the sands!
She gazed on the ground, a subtle shadow!
The man that he loves; beacons to woo---
