And David danced before the Lord: 2 Samuel 6: 14-15 by Cynthia Abegail
“David danced before the Lord with all his might; David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. (2 Samuel 6: 14-15).
It’s impressive to imagine how David danced before the Lord. As the Holy Spirit is with him, he has no inhibitions as people may smirk at his actions these days. With deeper thinking, his praise to the Lord is pleasing to the Lord. He loved God with a pure kind of love because the grace of God has been poured into his heart after his anointing!
In the same way, let us pray for God’s anointing and we will see that “When the Spirit of the Lord is in our hearts, we will dance like David dance!”
