JN 10:10 "I Have Come That You May Have Life" Reflection by Prayer Aid

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.  John 10:10

When we have to deal with health, financial, relationship, issues, over a period of time, we cannot bring ourselves to believe that Jesus came to give us a life of abundance.   Where Jesus is bringing about a healing, or transformation, the evil one is working towards making us think that the Lord does not care.   My friend had a serious problem over property with a sibling, she tried to work it out with him but he would not shift his stand.  She saw how this issue destroyed peace in her family and so she gave it up.  30 years later, her sibling came to her with a settlement that was to her advantage!   In His Time, He works it out – we have to surrender and rest in His love, even it means waiting for 30 years :)

(Thanks to Jane Pimenta, a Spirit-filled writer of reflections.  Yes, Lord Jesus came to save us.  We are welcome in our Father's house, in His mercy we could be forgiven.  Just come back to God with an open heart and with sincere repentance.  We are all sinners who need God's forgiveness!)  Cynthia Abegail for New World
