“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?: Ps 22
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no rest.” Ps 22:1-2

At times, we experience sadness over situations we seem not be in control. It may be dwindling finances, bad relationships, or our loved ones maybe sick and trouble here and there. Then, we pray for long already and there is no answer yet.
Then, we sometimes get to the point of desperation. We look at the heavens and God seems so distant and not paying attention to our pleas. We turned to saints to pray for us; nothing as of yet happened.
Wait! That’s the hardest thing to do when we need it now. It seems God is deaf to our cries. No. God hears our cries but the timing has not yet arrived. Remember, when Martha cried to the Lord, “If you have been here, Lazarus should have lived! Then the Lord raised Lazarus from the dead (four days—- he died already). For God is the God of time. He will determine when he will answer prayers. Maybe, God is waiting for you to turn back from your evil ways.
God will hear our prayers; will answer our prayers. When? Nobody knows! That is why He is God. He determines everything, nothing happens without his consent. Our lives is in His hands. Abide in God and you will live forever...
