“Where I am going, you cannot come:”. Reflection by Cynthia Abegail
“Jesus said to the Pharisees, ‘I am going away, you will look for me and die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.’ (Jn 8:21)
——
The Lord never like the attitude of the Pharisees. In the modern world, they are the hypocrites, the ones with a holier than thou art attitude. These are the ones who say one thing and do the very opposite.
As the Lord clearly states, ‘Where I am going you cannot come’. Who would like to be with the Lord at the appointed time? Then, we must all renounce these hypocrisy, wake up to a new way of living. (Jn 8:21)
