“Do not work for the food that perished but for the food that endures for eternal life, which is the Son of Man will give you.  For it is in Him that God the Father has set his seal.  Then, they said to him, “What must we do to perform the works of God?  Jesus answered, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”  Jn 6:27-29

When we work for God, it is for His glory, not to satisfy our selfish motives such as working for fame or for profit.  We search for Jesus because God the Father “set His seal” on Him.

 Jesus is the reflection of the Father; we are on the right path!  What else must we do?  Many, many activities that saps our energy?  When it is plain simple?  Love God, focus on God!  Search for God by following Jesus...

But, what do we do?  We use all of our time in garnering wealth.  No time for God?  No time to read His Word?  

Then, attending Holy Mass on Sunday:  Ah, busy?  But have time for gambling?  For parties?  For games?  For anything except worshipping God?...

Suddenly, tragedy strikes.  God was remembered!  Yes, my dear brothers and sisters, we do not focus on the bread that perishes but on the bread “Jesus” sent by the Heavenly Father.  This equates to eternal life!  Praise God, Alleluia!
