Forgive one another: Reflection by Prayer Aid (Jane Pimenta)

David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”  2 Samuel 9:1

After all the vindictive things done to David by Saul, David was still eager to do something good for his household.   This is perhaps one of the reasons David became a man after God’s heart!   In David’s life there was a Saul maybe there are Sauls in our lives too?  People who are continually poking and irritating us?   Let us forgive and look for an opportunity to do something for them, if that is not possible, or at least  pray for the person!  Pope Francis in his  letter to us, has asked that we learn to have holiness as our goal doing small acts of love for each other.
(We totally agree; there is no room for hate.  For God’s children love their brothers and sisters no matter what!  Compelling reflection.  Thanks Jane of Prayer Aid).  New World
