A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. But he said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid." John 6:19
When life gets rough, and it often does, Jesus is always with us. He says to us the same words He said to His disciples “It is I, do not be afraid”
We are in the process of buying a flat close to our daughter. On 16th August, this year, we took the draft agreement of a flat we liked to a second Advocate. People in the Society we wanted to buy into, told us there were no issues with the flat or Society. The second Advocate we consulted told us a different story. The person signing our final documents is not legally appointed by all the partners, he has a lot of legal issues against him – the people in the Society did not know this. He told us strongly we should not buy the flat – we thanked God immediately and told the Advocate too that it was prayer that saved us lacs of Rupees….”it is I” Jesus was in our situation before we were in it…working it out for us. (Thanks to Jane for this true story about her life and how God has helped her figure out the right decision. Praise the Lord!)
