“Who are my adversaries?” Isaiah 50:7-8

“The Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I shall not be put to shame; he who vindicates name is near.  Who will contend with me?  Let us stand up together.  Who are my adversaries?  Let them confront me.”  (Isaiah 50:7-8).

Courage, be not afraid!  We are strong because of the Lord.  We are not afraid because the Lord is with us.  Who can harm us?

Therefore, abide in the Lord at all times.  God will make His face shine upon us (Numbers) and will give us peace.  

Sometimes, fear grip us in times of trouble.  By ourselves, we can’t do anything.  We have to be determined to worship God, adore Him and obey Him.  There is no way on earth that we could battle against evil by ourselves alone.  God is the answer, for we say, “God Almighty is mighty in His power and might.”  Praise the Lord!
