“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Phil 4:14
In times of depression or fear – let us find a quiet spot in the Presence of Jesus. There is evil in the world, and some of that evil is in us/touching us. There is injustice, there are people who wound us, there is lack of love and compassion, many people struggle with finance because people cheat them, broken marriages, children causing parents pain or worse still abandoning them. Some of this, is touching us.
Darkness is not always a bad thing, growth and faith can come from times of darkness if we focus on the Light that is always there with us. At these times, the Presence of the Lord, the Word of God, the Rosary, are all lights that can dispel our darkness. Let us pray “O Lord, Your light is in my heart, let not my darkness speak to me but let Your Light guide me”
