"The Lord look with favor on you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:26)"
It is only God who can give that inner peace. When we fully abide in the Lord, we are blessed because God delights in us.
Just like a father delights in his son, God delights in His children; God is gracious and merciful.
"His approval and blessing are like a nourishing spring filling you with joy. Though he rules all of heaven and earth, he cares for you, knows your deepest hopes, and gives you tranquility in the midst of the storms." (Moments of Peace for the Morning, Bethany House, p 142).
Like a daughter who yearns for the love of his father, let us be joyful in praising Him as soon as we wake up in the morning. Then, grace fill our hearts like a morning dew that nourishes the leaves. We will not be in want, for our God is the God of the Universe who made heaven and earth.
Seek His Face and we do start our day by consecrating it to the Lord. For if the King of the Universe protects and put a hedge around you, who can harm you?
