The Way of the World is Passing

Just as the world relish in what satisfies the senses, the faithful continue to worship the true Living God.  These people know what truly matters, and that is an abiding love and obedience to God Almighty.

As in the days of Noah, most are drinking with revelry and preoccupied with the works of the flesh; suddenly they were surprised with the flood.  Noah was branded as a moron for building the ark.  Alas, judgment came and God purified the earth.

A new generation came and had worshipped idols.  Not satisfied with idolatry, they succumbed to sodomy and prostitution.  Alas, fire 🔥 and brimstone fell into Sodom and Gomorrah.

Which is the world worshipping at the moment?  Money? Pleasure?  Let us pause and ponder!  When the Lord comes, are we ready?
