“Don’t be afraid, thus says the Lord: Reflection by Prayer Aid

A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.  When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified.  But he said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid."  John 6:19-19
When life gets rough, and it often does, Jesus is always with us.  He says to us the same words He said to His disciples “It is I, do not be afraid”
As I share this encouraging you, I am trying to find comfort in the above scripture myself….. I am dealing with an  difficult situation presently and added to this I know very little how to proceed.  I am dependent on others to be right so I am right too!  I keep telling myself “If the Lord has brought us so far, He will complete the work in our favour”    Striving to remain trusting the Lord, can be very wearing out – but it’s the only way we can learn to depend on God and grow in our faith…. Let us not give up but keep trusting He will never let us down.  He is always on our side.
(I agree!  We keep on trusting the Lord no matter what happens.  Things can be rough sometimes, but He will get us through).  Excellent reflection).  Cynthia Abegail for New World
