When the disciples saw Him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid” Matthew 14:26
It is I…. When we are filled with anxiety about something, Jesus says to us “Take courage! It is I” Jesus knows what’s going on with us, He may even have allowed it – but He will never let us face it alone. He is calling us to turn to Him in everything, trust Him, surrender our fear to Him, it’s the only way – only He knows how to working things out, only He can give us peace. Today if you face a challenging time, keep repeating “It is the Lord” He knows! He will come and help me. He is right beside me….. Gradually peace will come. (I know that sometimes we could say, everything will be alright, but doubt or negativity may enter. True, Jane that confidence and trust in God is the key! Excellent reflection). New World
