I hereby command you; Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
On my way back from Canada on 18th Sept. our flight could not land due to an accident at Mumbai airport. We were diverted to Hyderabad (South of India) where the situation was chaotic – no one had any information for us – and no airline staff was available to guide us. I was worried, hungry, thirsty and tired. This vs kept coming to mind and I kept saying to Him, “I AM terrified, I do not know what to do, but I choose to trust you” 6 and half hours later we were called into the airport and given a flight home to Mumbai. I could pick up only one bag, and one lost bag was sent home to me 2 days later in good condition. Fear and anxiety are powerful feelings but it is precisely in these moments that the Lord wants us to trust Him – He has a time for everything, and He will work it out according to His time. Let us surrender our situation to Him and pray for the fruit of patience to be able to wait in faith.
(Thanks to Jane Pimenta for this enlightening story about how we should trust God unconditionally. Excellent). New World
