UNCONDITIONAL TRUST IN GOD: REFLECTION FORWARDED BY PRAYER AID

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?    Psalm 56:3-4

When we are afraid, when we want to talk to someone, or seek council to whom do we turn?  Would it be God or a trusted person?

Our answer will reveal to us our relationship with the Lord. 

Fear is a powerful feeling and not easy to handle.  I experienced a great fear recently when I was asked to do a stress-echo cardiogram.   My husband and daughter tried to encourage me and help me through this time, but I knew there was no one who could help me overcome the helplessness and fear I felt.  I had only one option open to me and that was to trust the Lord.  That day I realise that He is all I need, in that situation and always. 

He is all we need in any and every situation .
