“Forget the former things.” Thus says the Lord: Reflection by Jane Pimenta of Prayer Aid Group

This is what the LORD says—  he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses,  the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again,extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:  “Forget the former things;do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?    Isaiah 54:16-19   

Who or what is on our minds  right now causing us great concern?  Too much turmoil?  Cannot see a healing end to the situation?  Getting confused, angry.  May be all this is heavy on our hearts because we are trying to find ways to deal with the person/situation on our own.  Today let us turn it over completely to Jesus, HE WILL MAKE A WAY out of what is bothering us – scaring us.   If we remain holding onto our darkness it will fester more and more, but when we hand it over to Jesus, He will bring it into  His Light and  behold!  We will be set free….
