Good Friday —- A Symbol of Love

Good Friday —A great moment not only in history but the essence of the salvation of humanity!  By Jesus’ wounds and stripes we are healed.   This is both an enigma and a reality!  What if it did not happen?  No ifs and no buts!  If it is the plan of God Our Father, we will just obey and follow.  Humanity is saved, thanks be to God!!!

Our transgressions are paid in full!  Does that mean that we just keep on sinning?  Not at all.  We have to repent of our sins, it is a grace but we have to affirm our faith in God.  We have to affirm that we reject the works of the Evil One.  It’s a choice!  Are we for God or not?

For instance, we love a girl so much, but we just look on her and we do nothing.  To prove our love for God, we have to affirm it in words and deeds.  We have been redeemed by the Precious Blood of Jesus, more worthy than silver and gold.

Proclaim it!  Lord Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life.  With God, deception will not work.  We have to proclaim it in words and by the very life we lead.  We will not judge but only God judges.  God knows the very core of our hearts.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for our sins, paving the way for our salvation.  We could not repay you but we just like to affirm that we love you, Holy Trinity.  Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Beloved Son to save us.  Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all of the Angels and Saints, pray for us!  In the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
