Abraham pitched a tent on his journey: Reflection by Jane Pimenta of Prayer Aid Group

From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the LORD and called on the name of the LORD.  Gen 12:18
The bible tells us Abraham pitched his TENT… He was still on the journey with God leading him, and wherever he stopped he pitched a TENT – he did not build a house!   Part of our journey, are the challenges and many obstacles we have to face and overcome – but if we allow them to overwhelm us, and fall under them and don’t have faith God will see us through, we are building a more permanent thing  than a (tent), a temporary place since we  hope we will move out of the situation and forward…  problems will come, that is part of life, let us thank and praise God that He is still leading us and has not left us in those difficult times, let us believe that He will once again move us, like He moved Abraham and we will be in a place free of our difficult situation.  (Nothing is permanent in this world.  We are on a journey and wherever we are, we affirm our faith and love for God.  Thanks for this beautiful reflection, Jane.  Superb.  (Cynthia Abegail for New World).
